Connecting with my kids
I’m a mom of four boys, ages 6 to 19. I’m always looking for something we can all do together. My boys don’t have much in common because of the age spread, so family activities and quality time aren’t always easy! Q & A A Day for Kids helps us connect. It’s designed to be finished in three years, but we are in year 5 and nowhere near done. Life happens!
The book has 365 questions in it, one for every day of the year. Kids answer the same questions every year and you can see how the answers change as they get older. Some questions are silly, some are thought-provoking, and some are great conversation starters. I LOVE this book! It takes little effort but it makes great memories. I wish I knew about it when my 19-year-old was little! It’s written for one child, but I don’t want to deal with 4 books so I cram all their answers in.
It is a great way for parents who share custody to connect while kids aren’t home. They can do it over the phone or FaceTime. Grandparents could use it as well. It’s an easy way for them to bond with their grandkids who they don’t see daily.
