Here’s me trying the viral Orolay coat on my midsize body. It’s a down puffer jacket. I’m a size 16 and these are XXL. I was concerned about this making me look bulkier, but I think it’s pretty flattering. It has a fleece-lined hood, expandable buttons and zippers so it’s comfortable when you sit. The tighter sleeve keep the snow off your arms.

This time I tried Lululemon looks for less, but before that, I needed to see the real Lululemon version on a midsize, size 16 body to get a fair comparison. So I went to Lululemon and bought the Lululemon Scuba Oversized half zip hoodie to try for myself in XL/XXL. I LOVE it. It’s so comfy and soft. It lays just right, but it’s $118 so even thought I want all the Scuba styles I could only get one.

After trying the actual one on, I went on Amazon and tried the most recommended Lululemon look for less options. I’m going to start by saying, none of them lay exactly the same, the hoods aren’t as floppy, but the do have some close Lululemon inspired looks!
I’ll be keeping my Lululemon scuba and maybe I’ll get another for Christmas, but I’m definitely buying more colors of the amazon look for less versions! They are totally my fall mom style so you’ll be seeing them on my stories regularly if it ever gets cold enough to wear fall outfits!

Here’s a great curvy friendly, midsize casual fall outfit. This is the kind of Amazon outfit I love! It is all of my favorite things, a comfy outside made up of leggings, a zipper sweater /jacket, cozy socks, and look for less mini platform booties. It’s a great every day look on my midsize body and easy to move around in.
The jacket is giving designer vibes for under $40. It has high quality silky ribbed fabric and a nice wide collar. I’m a size 16 and I got them in my regular extra large, but if you want a more oversized look I would size up. I love how there’s several ways to wear it. It even has a double zip and it comes in 11 colors.

Amazon fall must-have! We all love a quilted puffer jacket! But as a size 16 midsize mom, sometimes they make me look like the state puff marshmallow man! The quilted jacket trend is still going strong this fall and winter season ❄️ and I found one that looks great on us Gen X and Millenial moms with midsize bodies. This is a look for less version. The Free People version is $198!!! You can get 4 of these on amazon for that price! It has all the great details the designer one has. I’m 5’6” and the sleeves are long enough. I usually size up in jackets, but I’m wearing my true size, XL! I love that it’s lightweight and packable too.

Today’s fall size 16 style and fall outfits is a midsize loungewear set. I’m wearing an XL on the black sweater. For the pants, I’m wearing an XXL. I love the cropped pants and the sweater does not pull against my tummy.
