It’s been about 7 months since the world shut down and still most things are closed in California. They open sometimes, but close again. We can go to restaurants, but can only eat outside. We are becoming homebodies! I don’t know about you, but  my family is watching way more TV than we used to. We are going through tons of shows since we are now always at home. Is that just us or are you doing the same thing? Some shows are good “background” noise shows, the ones I have on while I clean house, or just want to vedge and not think about anything. Others need more attention and suck me in. I just asked our group for recommendations of their favorites! We have 48,000 women from all walks of life so they gave me a variety of ideas  so I a list of the top picks to share with you. NETFLIX –

Breaking Bad (Drama, drugs, great show) Dexter (2nd most popular/ Drama, vigilante serial murderer is the protagonist) Parenthood (Feel Good Family Drama) Dead to Me (Dark comedy, I binged season one. Now season two is out and I need to catch up) Schitt’s Creek (slap stick/stupid funny kind of comedy. Most popular in our group, I tried, but not my thing) Revenge (We watched years ago, back before you could binge watch. JT and I both liked it)

Riverdale (Lots of people love it, High schoolers are the main characters, I tried but felt too old)

YOU (Loved this, total binge watch. Dark show, but not to dark.Stalker/killer is the protagonist)

Dirty John (I liked the podcast, haven’t seen the show yet, true story based off well off woman marrying a conman) Heart Of Dixie (LOVED this show, romantic comedy) New Girl (Romantic Comedy, mindless show you can watch while folding laundry or making dinner) Grey’s Anatomy (Doctor Drama) Cobra Kai (Karate Kid spin off, JT loved Karate Kid, but didn’t love it. I didn’t like it, but we are in the minority) The Office (Mocumentary sitcom)  

HULU –

A Million Little Things (Drama, this is one of my favorite shows. It’s real life stuff people don’t talk about)

The Handmaid’s Tale (speculative fiction/tragedy. People LOVE it but seems way too sad and serious for me)

Nashville (Drama, I’m not a country fan, but watched this years ago and really liked it)

The bold type (Dramady 20 something women working for a magazine, lots of sex, not for the easily offended)

Unreal (I LOVED this show. It’s like a soap opera/drama version of the Bachelor. If you love the Bachelor you have to watch)

Modern Family (comedy, mindless, great to have on for background noise) This is Us (Family drama, get out the tissue box)  

HBO Now or HBO Go –

Ballers (Football agents and players, drama with The Rock. JT and I both liked) Big Little Lies (Drama, I really liked it)

Sopranos (Drama, I’ve never seen it)

Game Of Thrones (Lots of gore and sex, most people loved it I couldn’t get into it)

AMAZON –

Psych (Comedy/drama fake psychic detective. More like a chill version of the Mentalist) Marvelous Mrs Maisel (Drama/comedy set in the 1950s with a woman as the main character) Have you watched any of these??? What is your favorite show to binge watch?
